Rajshikhar Gupta is an engineer, experimental physicist and a massive lab rat. He is working at the interface of nanotechnology and bio-engineering to develop diagnostic techniques that are personalized, affordable and reliable alternatives to existing health-care technologies. Rajshikhar received a dual degree, Master of Science (Hons) in physics and Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in mechanical engineering, from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, India, in July 2018. Before coming to ATLAS, he conducted research on cellular mechanics and deformability cytometry at CENSE, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), India. Rajshikhar is also a space enthusiast and had led nanosatellite project-ANANT during his undergraduate years. When not working on a new idea or experiment, he likes to sketch, paint and take untrammeled walks into nature.
