Norah Zuniga Shaw is an internationally recognized artist, writer and creative director for digital projects. Known for her genre-bending research and artworks, Shaw tours and is invited frequently to present on her work in arts, engineering and public humanities contexts. She holds a joint appointment as Professor and Director for Dance and Technology at The Ohio State University’s Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design and Department of Dance, where since 2004 she has been enjoying making space for students to invent their own unlikely connections. She teaches courses in artistic research, intermedia, improvisation and interdisciplinary collaboration. Zuniga Shaw's most recent multidisciplinary research initiatives include the Collaboration for Humane Technologies (2016-2018) and Livable Futures (2018-Present) and she is premiering a new performance work at the Wexner Center for the Arts in 2021.
