Kyle is a PhD student in CU Boulder's Department of Computer Science. He does research听in the Superhuman Computing Lab, which empowers people through technology, including projects such as making art, learning materials (video tutorials)听and board games more accessible to people who are blind or visually impaired.

Kyle graduated from a small liberal arts college,听Concord University, in West Virginia. 听He is a McNair Scholar and as an undergraduate he did summer research at Virginia Tech and CU Boulder. Outside of doing听research, his interests include听snowboarding, cooking, anime听and watching Twitch streams.
