Hye-Young is interested in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), smart healthcare, and creativity support tools. Her recent research focuses on enhancing motion learning and digital content authoring through eXtended Reality (XR), AI, and haptic technologies. She is a member of the Programmable Reality Lab and is advised by Dr. Ryo Suzuki. Hye-Young holds a BFA in Fine Art (Painting & Media Arts) from Seoul National University and an MS in Industrial Design from KAIST. Before joining the research community, she worked as a film VFX (Visual Effects) compositor and XR generalist in the Korean film industry.
