Susan McFaddin (ChemEngr '82)
Susan McFaddin is the President of Seven Generations, a real estate development and brokerage company. She consults on energy efficiency and zero energy home policy. She is a NREL Energy Executive Alumni and a Colorado Governors Fellow. Her Revive residential real estate development won the DOE Housing Innovation award for four years for proving how homes can put more energy on the grid than they use with good insulation, airsealing and window along with geothermal and solar technology. She developed Seven Generation Office Park which was the first commercial office building to earn LEED-NC Platinum in Northern Colorado. Susan has served on many boards and commissions including the Colorado Utility Consumer Board and the Planning Commission for Adams County. She has served on Fort Collins Utility Board, the Fort Collins Housing Authority, and the Colorado chapter of USGBC. Her education includes a PhD in Mineral Economics and a MS in Chemical Petroleum Refining Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado.
