Project Description
Successful coordination of large-scale wastewater-based epidemiology programs requires the accurate census of the extant of our anthropogenic waterways; we must map the sewers! Similar to a , this project will combine internet searches with ArcGIS to compile a map of available global sewer networks. A final project deliverable will be both the ArcGIS map and a writeup summarizing the extent of sewer network coverage, the type of material, and other meta-parameters that may inform a review-based publication. The student will work directly with Cresten Mansfeldt, and will gain skills in structured internet searches, interacting within supercomputers, and ArcGIS development.听
