Q.   What percentage of the changes that come up through the AF process do you think will impact faculty and staff?

A. It will most likely affect everyone.  For example, if “campus common core” is a topic that is selected as an area to be changed, everyone is affected.  We may need to change the way we do everyday things in a holistic way.  But note that this is not a budget-centered exercise.

Comment:  There is a concern that removing program fees is hitting different areas of the campus differently, especially in the non-STEM areas.

Q.  Are you seeing necessary changes for the student support service areas yet?

A. It is a little early in the process right now, but there is a lot of information on the website.

Q. Are there any discussions going on about the differences in undergraduate and graduate education?

A. There are several themed discussions going on topics that include discussions on undergraduate and graduate education.  These include:

- Interdisciplinary research and education

- Non-academic careers post education

- Online and professional masters degrees
